My Wonderful Muddy Boys

OK So I've been wanting to post this for awhile so here it is. Robert and I were in the house when Taylor comes running in saying we have a pool now come and see. I never imagined what I would see when I got outside. I couldn't believe the hole the boys had dug. They were so muddy but they were having a blast. I think they played in it for hours I couldn't get them out. When they wanted to come in the house I made them strip down to their underwear. The older boys hated it but the two little ones could care less. My bathroom was such a disaster in the aftermath of all of this. I still have the hole but they haven't filled it back up with water since then. Thank goodness LOL!!! I love my boys they surprise me everyday.

Breaking our first horse together.

We got this horse about three months ago. We got him for free from a Lady who couldn't afford to feed him. His name is Moon Dancer but we just call him moon. He is 5yrs old and has only been halter broke. Robert and I are in the process of breaking our first horse. It has been so fun and interesting. The hardest part has been trying to get a saddle on him.. We think someone tried to saddle him once before cause he is scared to death of the saddle. We put together a shoot and loaded him into it this weekend. We got the saddle on him and let him loose. He bucked , kicked, and ran around but just couldn't shake the saddle. We left the saddle on all night he did so good. So now we can saddle and unsaddle him with out the shoot. We did put him back into he shoot the other night and I climbed in the saddle. It was so much fun and exciting. I was so proud of myself . I cant wait to really ride him on a trail . He is such a good horse and always gives you two eyes, he never turns his butt to you and he loves the kids. His ground work is really sound so all we need to do is finish the saddle work. I never thought I would break my own horse let alone do it with my husband. I Love it cause its our time to be alone and do something together with out the kids.

Family trip to Bryce Canyon

Ok I am still new at this so my pictures went on upside down. This post is about our family trip to Bryce Canyon. As a little girl my family traveled thru this country all the time we just never went into the canyon. It was so beautiful here I would love to go back someday. So this first picture is of Taylor Mike and Colten on our hour long hike. They wanted a picture by a cliff. It was a perfect day for a hike.

This is a picture of Carson looking over a huge cliff. I took this picture really fast he was getting ready to climb. He is such a monkey and can climb anything. So yes I was very nerves taking this picture.

This picture is of Robert and Carson I love taking pictures of him and the kids he is such a good dad and all the boys want to be just like him.
I took this picture with out their knowledge I love doing that. Its when you can get some of your best pictures.
This is just a picture of the canyon it was so pretty. I took this picture of Taylor Mike and Carson Just before our hour long hike. Colten had just woke up and was a bear!
This was a really cool tree. It was all twisted and hanging on the edge of the cliff.

This poor deer was just eating minding its own business, when Colten decided he had to throw a rock at it. Some City Slicker Jerk yelled at him and told him to be nice. Ya it made me mad so we just walked faster to get ahead and enjoy ourselves. We caught some lizards and horny toads along the way. The boys had so much fun and saw some cool rock formations along the way as well. I took so many pictures Thru out the day my batteries finally died. I would love to back in the fall when all the leaves are changing.
