Carsons Birtday Party

I cant believe my baby is Three now! It seems like just yesterday (Nov 13) I was in the hostpital, so excited about a new baby coming home to complete our family. He is such a joy to have around and he is full of all kinds of stories. This year Raelene decided to make a fondant cake, for Calista's birthday and I decided to join her in this day long punishment!!! Here are a few pictures of the boys helping. They all had so much fun helping. I love having my boys help me cook and bake its such a joy teaching them new things. I think Cason made a bigger mess than I did LOL! The cake turned out cute and Carson loved it. Now all the boys want me to do this for their Birthdays so I guess I have my new tradition.

We went to Raelenes house again for Carson and Calista's Party. I love that they are so close in birth and life it makes it fun. We had all the family over for a luncheon and presents. Roberts Mom and Dad (Grandma and Grandpa Alberts) joined us this year. Its always nice to have the whole family get together and celebrate. The kids made out like bandits with presents like always! Thanks to everyone who made it and help make it such special day for the kids. Carson I love you and cant wait to watch you grow and change as you get older Happy Birthday Son!

!! All Hallows Eve !!

This was a such a fun Halloween. Taylor and Michael went with their friends and started at 5:00 and ended at 9:00 with a sleep over at my house. Robert and I took the two little ones out for about an hr. We parked the truck and hit every house with a light on. I packed Carson the whole way cause he walked so slow LOL. In this first set of Pictures Is Mike all dressed up as a Zombie Doctor!! He loves Zombie movies so he knows how they walk and act he did a great job.

Colten was a Star Wars Trooper this year. We didn't have a mask for him, so I turned on the Cartoon Movie and paused it on a trooper so I could paint his face. I used my makeup cause the boys lost my face paint sticks. He thought it looked pretty cool. He used a Nerf gun for his weapon. Robert ended up packing it all night cause it got in his way.

Carson was a cowboy riding a horse. I only got one picture of him and then the batteries died I hate my camera!! As u can see in some pictures he is in a pumpkin costume. He was just having fun putting on all the costumes. I used my eye liner to do his mustache and beard. I had to redo it the next day cause he liked it so much. He wanted to go to the scariest house on the street and then he didn't want to leave cause he had to see everything.

This was Taylor's last yr of Trick or Treating due to the fact that next yr he will be 13. He can still dress up and go to Halloween parties which will be just as much fun. He made his own costume out of stuff in the costume box. I think he did a great job and looked pretty cool. Its hard to believe he is as old as he is already.
Robert and I went to a Costume Party for a few hours once the boys were home. This was the first time we have ever been able to do anything on Halloween. Robert went as a biker and I went as a Red Witch but ended up changing once I got there into a Girl Scout out fit. It was a lot of fun and everyone there look great. We danced and played Guitar Hero and had a few drinks. Its always fun to get out of the house and mingle. The boys watched scary movies and ate candy. Like I said it was a fun Halloween this year.

Back to school update

I Know this is really late but its better late then never!! So my kids started School again WOW time flies. Taylor is in Junior High, which is part of the High School. Micheal is in fifth grade Colten is in all day Kindergarten and poor little Carson gets left at home. Colten started School a week after the older boys cause of testing. His bus picks him up at 9:45 every morning and he walks to the bus stop all by himself!! The bus stop is right in my backyard and right in front of my neighbors house. He rides the bus home with his big brothers so he has two bus drivers. He is so excited to be going to school. I cant believe how old my kids are getting to be its amazing to watch them change and grow into young men. This first set of pictures are of Taylor and Carson. Taylor caught a humming bird on the second week of school so I'm hoping this means good luck for him!! Carson had to have his picture cause he wanted to be apart of all the school stuff. This next set of pictures are of Colten getting ready for school and getting on his first bus of the school year! There are Three boys at his bus stop and they are all in the same class. His teacher this year is Mrs Randall and she is such a nice lady. She is going to be a great teacher for him.

Mike is having a great start to this year. I have already sat down with his teachers and explained to them about his Irlen syndrome and that he needs to use his overlay for reading. They are all on board and excited to help out with this. He has two hours with Mr. Weber, his one on one teacher for math and reading. He is such a great help to Mike and has helped him progress in his learning already. We have mapped out a plan to help him with his math cause he really has a hard time with it. I have such high hopes for him this year!! I just went to Taylors first parent teacher conference yesterday and that was different. Im use to one teacher and now he has Five. They all said he is doing really well so far he has all A and Bs, once he turns in some catch up work. I am so proud of all my boys for all the hard work they do! I cant believe its almost October and Christmas break is just around the corner!! Pretty soon they will be graduating and I will look back on this and say remember when!

Cedar Mountain Adventure

On the 13th of this month we headed for Cedar Mountain for the Bow Hunt and some camping fun. We left our house around 4:30 pm. Robert drove the RV and I drove the truck. Just before we pulled into Cedar City the front left tire blew up and Robert was able to get it off the road to an empty lot. I took the spare tire (that was not a good one) to Walmart to see if they could give me a new tire, of course they dont carry RV tires. So by this point its about 6:00PM and no one is open. I was able to find one place that just happened to have a ton of the kind of tire we needed. I drove back over to were Robert was and had him take the spare over there while I stayed with the kids and RV. Its a good thing he went cause it took two of them just to get the tire on the rim! By the time he made it back to us and we finally got back on the road it was 9:00 PM. Once we made it to Websters Flat and found a good spot we had to level the RV out in the dark HAHA! We went ahead and set all of our camp up that night. We ate dinner in Cedar so I didnt have to cook dinner thank goodness. We got a fire going and then just sat around and relaxed for a few hours before heading to bed. The next morning when we got up there were sheep every were!! Robert got the morning fire going and I cooked breakfast for everyone. After breakfast Robert went out scouting for deer while the rest of us spent the morning in camp. The kids had so much fun trying to catch the sheep. Mike would climb up in a tree and make a noise like sheep to distract them for Taylor so he could get close to them. When Robert got back to camp we laid down for a nap with Carson. Taylor, Mike and Colten all stayed up and played.

Later that night when we went to cook dinner I realized I forgot the Hamburger and BBQ sauce at home in the fridge. URRG!! So we had dutch oven potatoes and Ribs with out BBQ. I am such a dork. I did remember the stuff for smores!
The boys did alot of carving of spears and knifes when they were not chasing the sheep. Taylor decided to put himself in charge of the fire so we had lots of smoke!!!

Saturday Morning was the opening for the Bow Hunt. Robert got up before the sun and had me drive him to a his spot and then he would just walk back to camp. He saw one good deer but it saw him to! He got back to camp by 10 am. He was dressed all in camo so he snuck up on the sheep and the kids. It was funny. We ate luch and took another nap. Later that afternoon while Robert was still sleeping with Carson me and the other boys went on a hike. The boys found a log they could slide down. Mike sat to far back and fell off. We say a woodchuck and had a squirrel chatter at us. I let Mike find our way back to camp, he did pretty good we weren't to far off. When we got back to camp we started dinner so we could go back out hunting. Robert did the dutch oven potatoes for me so I took lots of pictures of momentus occasion! Since we didn't have any Hamburger we roasted Hot Dogs with the potatoes. It was really GOOD!! Taylor and Mike rode in the back of the truck and we headed out. We got on this one road that was not a road after awhile. I am pretty good at driving on boulders HAHA! We saw one deer worth shooting but Carson decided that would be a good time to start screaming. Once back at camp we built a fire and were just getting settled in for the evening when Mike asked, " What is that black thing?" He asked this a few time before we saw what he was talking about. None of us moved when Robert got up to go get a flash light out of the RV. Robert realized this and turned around and said " Dont just sit there get in here until I find out what it is"! Thats when all hell broke loose. Taylor and Mike RAN for the RV! Chairs went flying and pop and chips got spilt. Colten was trying to get past everyone and kept falling down. I was trying to grab Carson while not burning us with my hot coffee I had just made. Robert was already in the RV getting a flashlight to find out what was moving through our camp. By the time I made it to the RV I couldnt get in and Robert couldnt get out all the kids were standing in the doorway trying to see this black thing. I was laughing so hard I could barely walk. We never saw what it was just the direction it went in. Once it was gone we all went and sat back by the fire for the rest of the evening. This was the funnest night of all the nights up there. Robert went ahead and built a huge fire after that. Well the next morning when we got up there was a black DOG walking through our camp. We figured this is what we say that night. Well Sunday morning came and we all got up cleaned up our camp site and ate a huge breakfast and were home by about one. It is always an adventure with our family never a dull moment. I hope you enjoyed reading about it. Until my next post!

These are Pictures from our hike.

These are a bunch of left over pics I just want to get in here

These are pictures of mike and Carson in there trees.

My wonderful hand injury

Ok so some of you know about this due to face book. So i thought I would do a post on in and tell the whole story. This first picture is of my hand right after I got home from the Docs. It is so swollen I couldnt get my rings back on for a week. Ok so the story begins with me mowing the the lawn. I had the front yard all done and had moved to the back yard. I did a walk through and picked every thing up, so I thought. About 1/3 of the way the bag started to drop clippings every were. I had just emptied it so I open the cover, with the mower running, moved just the top part of the grass and found that I had run over a wire at some point. I guess when I moved that grass it loosened the wire. I don't remember much other than I heard the noise and felt the most sharp shooting pain I had ever felt in my hand. I closed my hand so fast and then looked down at it, there was blood every were!! I went to the back door but it was locked so I calmly (Really) Walked over to Carson, cause he was in back with me, picked him up and walked to the front door. Luckily Robert is working nights right now so he was home with the truck. I woke him up and told him he needed to watch the kids so I could go to the clinic. He asked why and I showed him. He said he would drive me but it was just easier to go alone. When I got there they took me right back cause I had blood all over me. I was taken to the back room for emergencies and sat on the ambulance bed. Then they shut the doors and left. The doctor had just got back from luch cause I watched him pull in. He walked in and right past me as he said, HI how are you? Um OK is what I was thinking I have blood all over and I'm holding my hand?????? He walked on by and out the door. He then walked back through and just smiled at me. Finally he came in and said I guess I'm helping you! Well I hope so I said! No nurse just him. He put on his gloves and looked at my finger. He had me walk over to the sink to rinse it out. He put soap in my hand and had me scrub my own wound. He told me I needed to work up to my elbow and then dry it off. I did not know I was a nurse! I then went and sat back down. He put on gloves and not once did he wash his hands mind you. Once his gloves were on he went to the door and opened it looked for someone shut the door and came back to my hand. He then went to the cupboard were they keep all their prepacked equipment. With his now unclean gloves he grabbed all he needed and then changed gloves. Once in a while a nurse would come in put her gloves on and then fold her arm, Um what was the point of the gloves?????????? Finally I got all numbed up and the stitches began. I had two really deep ones to stop the bleeding which did not work cause I had cut some blood vessels. After awhile it finally stopped and he was able to put in the next 5or6 surface stitches. They are individual ones not a running stitch. The last two I was not numb for and they stung a little. He also had to redo one of the stitches. I have a little nerve damage and stiffness in my finger. It is going to be one ugly scar!!!

These were taken just the other day. I still have a braise on so I cant move my finger but I took it off so I could get these pics. These pics make it look good!! I go to the doctors on Friday to see how it is doing so hopefully it is healing good. He will do more tests to see how bad any of the nerve damage is. No tendons were cut but it did go almost to the bone. There was no bruising just alot of swelling and pain!! Yes I learned my lesson and will always shut off the mower!!
I do have to say its amazing how much you use your pinkie fingers!! I am typing this one handed cause I cant use my left hand very well. I have also discover even though I am right handed I use my left hand more. I am glad to still have a pinkie and that it wasn't as bad as it could have been. There is always a bright side to something bad!

Family Reunion 2009

Well we had our annual Hunt Family Reunion and it was just as fun as ever. This year we had it up on the Kaibab, which is in Arizona. Robert and I decided to take the new RV, the tent trailer for my sis and the horses. I drove the RV and Tent trailer while Robert had the truck and horse trailer. We left Friday afternoon for the three hour drive. On the way was a adventure in its self!! Robert blew a tire about two miles outside of cedar. I overheated in the RV and waited for Robert at the tourqorville exit for almost a hour, not knowing he had a flat. I finally decided to try and find him. If I had only waited 10 more minutes He would have shown up. We finally found each other and headed out again. It was 112* outside and I was driving with the heater on the whole way!!! I had Taylor putting Ice in rags and on my feet and neck. We drank all of our water before we even made to the mountains LOL!! When we did make it I went to turn on the road were everyone was at and drug the tent trailer into the ground. Luckily my Dad happened to be right behind me (which I did not know) and dug me out. Once I was out the RV died and did not restart again for almost 20 mins. So my mom and I hung out in the middle of the road just chatting, what else were we to do ? I finally made it to camp and got everything set up and it was time to relax!!! We all sat around the bomb fire , it had to be big enough for us all to fit. All the kids had green glow stick so the forest was very well lite up and no one had to wonder were their kids were. I think we all went to bed around 11:00 it had been along day. Saturday we did a huge pot luck and played lots of fun games. Taylor built a lean-to for a scout badge and slept in it all alone all night. I think there was like fifteen dogs running around so there was nothing to worry about. I woke him up bright and early so I could get a picture of him inside of it.
We Got My brother -in- law BJ to try and go for a horse back ride with Robert but he got bucked off the horse. So we put him on my horse and he couldnt get his dirt bike boots into the stirrups so he was done LOL. Robert and I went ahead and went for a ride. while on our ride both my front and back cinches broke while running up a hill!!! To say the least I did not make it to the top with my horse LOL!!! I went flying off with the saddle. I hit the ground so hard it knocked the air right out of me! Yes It hurt ALOT!! We were able to fix the saddle and continue on our ride. It was so pretty and alot of fun. Later that evening we took the kids for little rides and they loved it. Some of my cousins kids wanted to sit on our horses so we let them. My nephew couldnt stop talking about it for the rest of the day.

This set of pictures is of the whole camp which I still did not get it all in it. We camped on the other side of the road cause of the horse. I took A long distance shot of our set up. Well the adventure is still not over. We packed up early Sunday morning and headed for home. On our way My sis Realene and her hubby BJ had a blow out on their trailer so they had to pull over and fix it while I went on ahead to my Moms house. we decided to leave the RV and tent trailer there and come back the next weekend to fix it. While there Taylor and Mike decided they wanted to stay for the week. So we unloaded all of there stuff and then headed for home. We decided to go up over Cedar Mountain and it was so nice. We stopped at Navajo lake and walked the horses down to the waters edge. They ate and drank for awhile and then we were off again. We got about two miles outside of Cedar and blew another tire on the same side of the horse trailer as earlier. The first one was the rear tire and then it was the front. Being Sunday no one was open!! We dropped the trailer and horses with me and the kids at the auction yard while Robert went to find a tire. The whole time he was gone it sprinkled but it was nice and cool. The horses were in a pin so I feed and watered them while I waited. Robert got back but had no tire so we dropped the spare off the truck and luckily it fit. Of course once we started to change the tire it began to down poor!! Just our luck right I wouldn't expect anything less LOL. We FINALLY made it home at like nine that night. Unloaded the horses and just went to bed and did the rest in the morning. Well that's about it I hope you enjoyed our adventure cause we did and now we can just sit back and laugh about it all. It also makes for a great story.

Roberts Trip to Oregon

Over the fourth of July Robert went to Oregon to pick up a RV that had belonged to his grandmother. This was a crazy weekend for me and him. I had to drive him to the Vegas Airport. This was the first time I had ever driven in Vegas so this was very nerve racking for me. I got him there just fine, my knuckles were a little white LOL. While I was there I was picking up my boys from my ex, so I had him met me at the Airport. Thank goodness cause he helped get me out of vegas and on the road to home. Thank you Brian!!! Anyway Roberts flight left on time but he had a hour lay over in SLC, stupid I know. He got to Oregon just fine anyway. His little sister was suppose to pick him up but she could not find him. He waited for two hours and then just took a cab to his Dads house. He spent a few days with his Dad before he drove the 17 hours home. The one picture is of a logging company from a show we watch so he had to get a picture. If you can read his shirt its really funny. The rest of the pictures are of his Dads place and his two little dogs. He had a lot of fun with his Dad and seeing his sister who he doesn't see that often. He left Saturday afternoon and made it home at three on Sunday. He was so tired and glad to be home. We were glad to have him back!! The kids were so excited to see the RV they were more excited then on Christmas Morning. They couldnt wait to take it for a drive.

Fourth of July

Well its about time I update this thing LOL! This was our very own celebration at home. Robert was in Oregon and so we just let of fireworks in the driveway. Carson, being only 2 1/2, did not know what to think of them. At first he was scared but then he warmed up to them. I could not get him to let go of my leg for the first few. The last one we set of was huge and surprised everyone. Carson ran in the house crying but the other boys loved it and wanted more!! It was a lot of fun. After the fireworks we went to the back yard where I built a fire so they could roast marshmallows. I love having a fire pit in my yard. They got all sticky but had a blast. They ran around for hours just playing while I chilled by the fire. It was a great night .

Family Trip to Salt Lake City

This was a unexpected trip to SLC. This trip came about when Roberts Dad called on Thurs the 18, which was Roberts Birthday. Anyway Roberts Dad wanted us to come up and visit him and Roberts Grandpa. Bruce (Roberts Dad) lives in Oregon so we don't ever see him. Bruce had never seen Carson and has only seen Colten a few times so this was nice to be able to let him spend some time with the grand kids. I wasn't going to go because it was going to cost more for us all to go but then I just said to hell with it I want to have some fun!! We arrived Saturday afternoon at Roberts brother Richards house. Robert took a little nap and then we left to go check into a Motel. Colten was so excited cause he has never stayed in a Motel or Hotel. Colten was so excited cause it was a vacation to him LOL!! He was a little upset it did not have a pool but he was ok with it. After checking in we left to go to Uncle Brent's house up in the Foothills. What a beautiful home WOW! The kids had so much fun running around and playing with all their cousins. We had a BBQ, which was really good I ate way to much food. After dinner we all went down stairs and played pool and shuffle board. It was so good to met some more of Roberts family and get to know them a little bit better. It was a wonderful night and so much fun! Later that evening before it got dark Robert took me and the boys for a drive up Big cotton wood canyon. It was so gorgeous and green. Roberts brother Branden went with us so they talked hunting the whole time. On our way back down we ran into a moose on the side of the road just casually walking with traffic. I tried to take a picture but it is really dark so look close when you get to that one. That was the first moose the boys have ever seen they were so excited about it. Colten kept saying we can shoot it, lets shoot it!! He is such a hunter he cracks me up. We went back to Brent's house and visited some more and then head for our Motel for bed! The next day was Fathers Day and I had bought some cards for Robert. The kids and I got up earlier than he did and so we signed our cards and then woke him up with lots of hugs and kisses. He couldn't help but smile! We then we pack up and headed out for the day. Our first stop was Hogle Zoo. It had rained that morning and the wind was blowing like crazy. Robert and Colten were the only ones who had jackets so we had to buy me and Carson a sweater at the gift shop. Fifty dollars later we were all warm. The animals were so active and lively so the weather was worth it. We spent about four hours at the Zoo. We then went and ate at the Macaroni Grill, thank goodness for gift cards. It was really good food and the kids were so well mannered. Carson would take a bit of his macaroni and then wipe his mouth with his napkin he was such a gentlemen. After lunch we went Back to Uncle Brent's to say good bye to everyone but no one was there so we headed for home. It was such a wonderful trip even if it was a short one. I needed it and it was good to finally get out of my house and just enjoy life. It was such a wonderful and different Fathers Day for Robert and I hope we can have more like it in the future.

**My New Horse**

Well I finally got my Buckskin Horse Hurray!! I am so excited about her. I have wanted a Buckskin ever since I can remember. They are so hard to find and when you find one they are so expensive. With the horse market now days and the economy the way it is horses are dirt cheap so that is how I got mine. We found her on the KSL classifieds about a week ago. She is two years old and the sweetest little thing ever. She has never been broke so we are in the process of doing that, Again. The first night we got her home we were on her and riding. I will be riding her out on the trail with in the week, I can not wait. She loves the kids and people in general. Her main and tail are black with silver in it. I can not tell you how much I love this horse!! The boys cant wait for their turn to get on her and ride. I think they love her as much as I do. She is so quite and still, I cant believe how good and calm she is for never being broke. Anyway here are a few pictures of her and you will see why I think she is so beautiful. Oh ya her name is Porsche, Which I'm not sure I like so if any one can think of a different name please let me know.

Just a quick review of the last few weeks

Well I have to start by saying I have started sitting three boys. All I have to say about that is What was I thinking seriously?!! So yes I have 7 boys running around my house three days a week. The ages are 2, 4, 5, 5, 9, 10, and 12. Next week will be week three, we will see how it goes. The next big thing is I have my garden planted, Hurray!! My parents came up one day and helped me get it in. I am so excited about my fresh veggies and fruit. It has already started to bloom with little green things. We had to put up a fence and electric fencing around that just to keep my stupid dogs form getting into it. Yes they are still getting into it but not as bad as years past. My mom and I planted a little flower garden in the corner and it looks so pretty! My yard is coming together finally and it has only taken nine years to get here LOL!!! OK next thing is Taylor went on a youth conference camp out. He left on Thursday and got home today Saturday. They pulled hand carts for two days. He said he had a lot of fun but did not take any pictures for me. He decided he wanted a flash light instead of the camera. I was told that I can get pictures from some of the leaders that went so I will post those when I get them. OK so I jumped ahead a little, last weekend my washer decided to just quite on me with a full load inside! I was so mad to say the least. It was a good thing it was memorial weekend I found a new one at sears. The only bad thing about this one is it is cold rinse only and I have little to no cold water in my washer. I have it to my sink but not my washer go figure? So I had Sears come out and look at it they told me because of my cold water it is timing its self out on the rinse cycle and shutting off. So I have to turn it just right to get it to start again. What a pain in the butt, but at least I don't have to go to a laundry mat! Last but not least is Robert and I have been going one our Sunday rides and it is so nice. Last Sunday we got home and I let Taylor go for a ride and then I took all the other boys around for a little while. Colten couldn't stop laughing when I got Girl to trot. Carson didn't like it so much. When I got Mike on with me I made him do all the raining and he did really good. He was a little nervous but he got her to do what he wanted. So to end this long post I will just say it has been a long and productive two weeks!!!! Oh ya one other thing my nine kittens are getting so big and are almost ready to give away.

*Mothers Day Weekend*

Well these pictures went on backwards, so I will start with Sunday. Sunday morning I woke up to Taylor fixing me and Robert breakfast in bed. He must have thought we were really hungry, he made us each two eggs toast and two sausages. Later that morning, cause we didn't eat all of Taylor's food, I made Crepes with strawberries. I then opened all my present from the boys. Robert took them to the dollar store Friday while I was in Vegas. I got lots of stuff to plant in my garden, a wind chime, a frog, a BBQ cleaner, and a shirt that said "I have my own attitude I don't need any of yours" It was so cute. Robert got me a open heart necklace and ring from Kay's along with a card. I then took a nap before Robert and I went our horse back ride. We took the horses to the creek just down from our house. It was so nice to have some alone time with him. My favorite time on horse is when it is running so we ran the horses a lot! It was such a good Mothers Day and so special. I have the sweetest boys ever!!!

These next set of pictures are from my trip to Vegas for my BFF'S Bridal shower. This was all put together by her co-workers. They are such a fun group of girls. It all started on Friday when we arrived at our hotel South Point. This was such a nice Hotel WOW!! After checking in we changed into our bathing suits and headed for the pool. We spent the whole day there. By the time we left the pool to get ready to go eat and the club, everyone was already feeling really GOOD!! Once we were back to our rooms we all gathered in one room and did gifts. They were so fun. Brandy got a pimp cup that she carried around all night always full of beer. She also wore a sash, a veil, guarder, and a blinking thing. After she was all dressed up we went to the Hotel Cafe' and ate dinner. After dinner we went to the Hotel bar for awhile. It was so funny cause some people actually gave her money. While at the bar one of the girls ran into a friend that had a suite in the Hotel we were staying in. We went to the suite for about a hour and had a open bar and snacks. That was such a sweet suite WOW is all I can say!! We finally made it to Stoney's, its a country dance club and bar. We got the bouncer to give us V.I.P tables and let us all in Free. All the girls rode the mechanical bull and danced like crazy. We finally left the club about three in the morning to go back to the Hotel. Our cab driver was a total jerk to us. I was so glad to get out of his car. Once we were back to our room we all went to bed by Four am. I was so surprised no one throw up or woke up with a hang over. I have never seen girl drink so much. I had a few drinks cause I wanted to stay aware of what was going on. We left the next day and we were back in Saint George by Noon. To say the lest I was exhausted!! It was such a good Mothers Day weekend! I hope everyone else had just as good of a mothers day as I did. So to all my friends out there Happy Mothers Day!!

My Baby Kittens (ALL OF THEM)

Well here they are our new addition to our animal family! The first picture is of Princess one of the mommies. The second picture is of her kittens, there are five of them but you can only see four. The fifth one looks just like the other black and white kitten. The third picture is of Smokes, she is one of princess kittens from her last litter. Smokes has four babies, she had six but two of them died at birth. They are such good mommies. One of princess white babies was dead at birth but I was able to revive it by massaging its chest and wiping off its face so it could get some air. It took it awhile to come around but it is doing really good now. Princess's babies are now two and a half weeks old while smokes are almost a week old. My kids love them and hold them all the time. They are going to be very kid proof when it comes time to give them away. If anyone wants one please let me know. Yes I do have plans to get the moms fixed as soon as possible!

A weekend in review

Robert and the two little ones on a huge rock down by the creek. Colten wanted to jump in but the water was really gross!!

This is a picture of the fort looking up from the creek. I know it doesn't look like much but you can just see the top of the fort.

This is a little late, but better late then never right. Taylor and Mike sang at the kite festival in St. George this last weekend, with all the 4, 5, & 6th graders. They started early so we missed them singing. We got stuck waiting for the bus to take us over to the Festival I was so mad. Anyway they both said they sucked and weren't very good. I guess they missed a few words and notes. Afterwards the school took them over to Sand Hallow, which is a indoor swimming pool, they had a blast. Robert and I took the two little ones out to Fort Pierce which is out by Washington fields. Its a old fort build back in the 1866 during the Indian wars to protect the water. Colten and Carson had fun walking inside the fort and then down by the water. I cant wait to take Taylor and Mike down there. We plan on exploring a lot of old towns and sites this summer, there are so many out here by our house. Sunday Robert and I went out on our Horse ride and Taylor watched the kids with Mikes help. They usually just play the WII and don't even know we are gone. It is so nice to get out and know my kids are in good hands. We are usually only gone for a few hours so its not to long but its still really nice. This was a good weekend and there are more to come!

OUR FAMILY EASTER ADVENTURES

Here are the pictures first and then the story is at the bottom of the page! Hope you all enjoy.
This is a picture of all Thirteen grand kids with there Great Grandpa Hunt. This was the best of Five taken.

Grandpa Hunt was making a few swings to hang from the tree for the kids to swing on.

This year for Easter we decided to head for Kanab. We arrived at my parents house around 6:30 Friday night. The kids were so excited to finally be and Grandma and Grandpas Hunts house and see all of their cousins. There is thirteen grand kids in all, out of the thirteen there are only two little girls. My brother Ryan has the one and my sister Raelene has the other one. The first night in town Robert and I decided to go see some old friends of mine who I haven't seen in forever. It was a lot of fun to just hang out and catch up. We also drove by my parents old house which was really weird to see, its crazy to think of someone else living in the house I grew up in. We got back to my parents house around 11:30 that night and then stayed up much later and visited with everyone. All the kids slept on the living room floor in sleeping bags. You could not walk with out stepping on one of the kids they were every were! After everyone went to bed all you could hear were the kids giggling and playing it was really cute and they had so much fun. The following day was Saturday. We all got up and had a huge breakfast. At this point the sun was out but it had rained that night. We all got ready for the day and cleaned up the living room. During this time it decided to start raining so our plans for the day changed rather quickly. We were suppose to go to the mountains for a cookout, instead we cooked Hot Dogs on the grill out back. When the sun broke free later that afternoon Raelene and I went and hide all the Easter eggs for the kids. After finding all the eggs and candy Ryan set up the egg coloring table. It turned out so good. I do believe there was only one spill, which Taylor caused trying to hurry and get his egg in first. I think at one point or another everyone had taken a nap minus the kids of course. After everything was done Ryan, Raelene, and I went out to play catch with the football. I noticed a rainbow and had to get a picture so Taylor took over for me while I took a picture of it. Later that night Carson my little baby started to breath really funny we just thought he was coming down with a cold. Well about 1:00 in the morning we found out differently. Robert and I got up got dressed and headed for the Hospital. By the time we arrived he sounded so bad . We got checked in and waited for the doctor to arrive. They checked his oxygen and his lungs. Everything was really good. No fever, no congestion, no ear infection, and his lungs were clear. We were told he had croup settle in his larynx, which I did not know could happen. They gave him a breathing treatment and a steroid shot in the leg. He did not even cry or react when they gave him the shot we were all really surprised! They sent us home and he has been getting better every day since. Sunday was the following day and we had family breackfast again. Sunday was such a beautiful day the sun was out and it was really warm. We had dutch oven potatoes and grilled hamburgers for lunch. Finally we left Kanab around 3:30 cause we had to be in Saint George by 5:00 for dinner at Roberts Mammies house. The boys had another Easter Egg Hunt and more food! This was a really special visit to Mammies cause the boys got to meet their Great Great Grandma. She was so sweet and it was really nice to meet her. When we got ready to leave Mammies, Grandma Albert's gave the boys their Easter Gifts. We got the movie Bedtime Stories. We sat down and watched it as a family when we got home. The kids loved it and we all laughed a lot. This was a very long and fun and stressful holiday. The kids are all doing good now and I am so glad to be home in my own bed and just relax. I cant wait for the next holiday and family get together.
